At present, there are many fraud suppliers in the international business, if you buy stone products from China for the first time, we suggest you should do the following things to protect your business:

1. Check the company stamp or certificate. For the legal company, their formal stamp (round shape and there is one five pointed star in the middle) and certificate is authorized by goverment.

2. Check the bank account. In China, the legal company should open company bank account at the national bank, such as BANK OF CHINA, INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL BANK OF CHINA.

3. If their price is very very cheap, it’s much cheaper than all of other suppliers, and the payment terms is very good for you, for example, 10% in deposit, you can pay the balance after you receive all of products, you should be careful, the supplier maybe just want to get your deposit.

4. Ask your friend or the third party to inspect the company or factory.

Step1. Specific INQUIRY should be sent to us by email, fax, telephone, MSN or online message, including the type of stone, size, surface finish or drawing etc.

Step 2. Our sales will offer you QUOTATION within 24 hours once we receive your inquiry.

Step 3. Further discussion about the price, processing, color, quality, delivery time, freight cost, payment, sample etc.

Step 4. We make Proforma Invoice (PI) or Sales Contract for your confirmation,then you would confirm the PI or contract. To arrange deposit or open the L/C, we’ll start production once receiving the deposit or L/C.

Step 5. After shipment,we will fax or send scaned B/L to clients, then clients should pay the balance. Or we present all of documents with L/C to the bank.

Step 6. Send all of original documents to clients or make the telegraphic release as soon as receiving the balance of payment.

Yes, just specify your requirement. We usually supply 10 x 10 x 1 cm (4″ x 4″ x 3/8″) or 15 x 15 x 1 cm(6″ x 6″ x 3/8″) stone samples, they are available free of charge ex-factory, but the courier cost are collected except for some long-term partners.

NOTE:

There are two payment methods for sending samples.
1. Courier: Your courier account number is requested. Please ensure that it allows for incoming charges.
2. If you do not have a courier account, payment can be made by Western Union or T/T. We would then pre-pay for your sample’s freight to the courier company.

It depends on what you are buying. Normally,our minimum order is one 20′ full container, with mixed products, such as tiles, countertops, stone carvings and so on. But this doesn’t mean that we don’t accept LCL container (less than a container load).

Our standard payment term could be T/T (50% in deposit, balance on the receipt of copy of B/L) or irrevocable letter of credit at sight.

Within 20-45 days after receipt of your L/C or TT deposit according to your quantity.

For each order, no matter it is small order or big order, we will have our Quality Inspectors to be responsible for quality testing of all stone raw materials and finished products.Each order will be followed and monitored from beginning to end by experienced QC inspectors to ensure quality standards and punctual delivery. In addition, we also welcome clients to monitor product quality by either personally visiting our production areas or employing third party independent inspection companies.Quality is the life of an enterprise. It is our principle that we will not ship any unqualified goods to our customers.

No, stone is a natural material with naturally occurring variations in color, tone, granularity, pattern, etc, be allowed color tolerance or color change.

Normally about 2-4 colors. It is easier for us if you buy no more than 4 colors (say 2-3 colors) and we appreciate it. If you buy many colors in one container, it will make us inefficient and the cost will be really high.

At Xiamen Port in China, we could load the maximum gross weight of 27 tons into one 20’container. Therefore, how much stone you could load per 20′ container depends on the weight limit on the roads or railway of your country. The density of stone colors ranges from 2600 to 3000KGS per cubic meter. The marble is around 2600KGS per cubic meter. The granite is around 2700KGS per cubic meter except for black granite with a density of 3000KGS per cubic meter. Please note that there should be at least 1000KGS held for the weight of the wooden crates. Therefore, for America, the quantity per 20′ container load is as follows.

3/8″ thickness: 6459 sq.ft.
3/4″ thickness: 3229sq.ft

Granite tile floors, formed by volcanic action, this igneous rock floor bursts with distinction. Flecks of quartz, feldspar and mica give Granite its own special character. 1. Cost- Although cheaper than marble, granite countertops are more pricey than ceramic tiles or laminate but less costly than marble. If cost is a factor, consider using granite tiles which are $3-$6 per square foot. (Granite slabs can run over $100 for the same measurement.)
2. There is no way to hide the seams in granite countertops.
3. Granite must be sealed to prevent staining or discoloring.
4. Installation should always be done by a professional.
5. Granite countertops should have the sealant re-applied at least once a year to ensure that the surface stays glossy and non-porous.

Tips for Color Selection

Should granite countertops be the desired kitchen or bathroom choice, one is faced with choosing the countertop color and ultimately with hiring someone to do the installation. Some quick tips for color selection include:
· Go to a granite warehouse or show room with a wide selection of granite slabs.
· Bring along items from the room the granite countertops will be used in—cabinet door, floor sample, fabric swatch, wall cover, etc…
· Ask to see several slabs of whatever color is chosen to be sure it will work with the room.

Hiring the Installation Crew

Once the granite is selected, it is time to find an installation crew. One should keep in mind these questions and pay attention to the answers given in order to protect this investment. It is wise to get these answers—especially those pertaining to the actual job–in writing, before signing a contract. It is wise to ask the warehouse or showroom employees if they have any recommendations.
1. What type of guarantee and warranty is there on the work?
2. Does the company do background checks on the crew? How reputable are the workers?
3. What steps are taken to provide a quality finish?
4. Who is responsible for getting the work permit?
5. If there are problems, what is the company’s policy?
6. Are there customer reviews or references that can be checked?
